— Product is the new agile
We believe in software building as a knowledge generation activity that improves people’s lives and allow them to grow their capabilities and approaches to live and work better.
We agree that product is hard, but as PMs, we're responsible for making it fun. A happier workspace will improve your team's performance, but this workspace will replace multiple tools used during product discovery and development while saving thousands of dollars.
So, why the product ontology? I like to think about product like in terms of the new agile. I believe that agile made well enough to create a more flexible mindset combining scrum, waterfall, open-source among others, to determine how to build user-centred software in uncertainty liquid times.
During the last decade, new frameworks like business model canvas, lean startup or design thinking have arose to improve the innovation process by centring the user, the business and the market in a better manner — but did they solve product development too?
Inspired by Marty Cagan’s view on the four big risk and his product taxonomy —just adjusting the four into three key dimensions that creates the value— we though that a common product language could apply and those are the entities presented as Notion databases in this system.
We built this system in a flexible mode so you can just take what you need while being compliance with product standards during the whole product life-cycle covering discovery and delivery in the same platform to generate composed product knowledge.
